About us

I've hoarded antiques & art for 40 years, opening "southwoldart" to sell surplus items. Customers are mostly in the UK, and collectors in Australia, Canada, and USA, so I ship overseas - ask for a quote. I also sell (UK only) plants grown on our smallholding, and miscellaneous bits & bobs.

Most artworks are antique with a few contemporary pictures, by both celebrated and lesser artists. Items lean towards quirky, folk-art, and "below stairs" country house or cottage pieces. They include furniture, metalwork, treen etc., and really anything that I think is beautiful or useful. I welcome enquiries if there is anything you're looking for. Many sea-related items deliver 10% to the RNLI.

I'll try to give you as much detail as you can shake a stick at on each work of art or antique, but ask please if you need more detailed information or further condition reports. Original paintings are packed professionally by me in wooden shipping cases.
