Indeed, this is a nice new mess kit. Hard to beat the price since others sell used, dented kits at near the same costs. Vendor sent it in a nice box, too. Others merely use mailing, padded envelopes. I do recommend the vendor use some packing for future orders to stabilize the kit in the box and the utensils during shipment (wrapping paper, paper towels, bubble wrap, or such). Still, GREAT VALUE. Great vendor. A+ and Recommended Highly. Fast shipping, also. Wonderful service.

Jacket is as described, it appears to be an updated version of the ABU "poofy jacket" but supposedly rain resistant which will be nice. First impression seems slightly less insulated than the original poofy jacket, but it could be due to shipping compression. Name / rank / service Velcro spots are present which I appreciated. Price is premium, but there may not be much to do about that. Shipping however is painfully slow, no real reason to send USPS space-A when first class is a couple $ more.
