About us

The Olde Skool started life during the pandemic of 2019. The founder had worked as a designer of men's clothes & accessories for over 20 years for various uk brands, chain stores, & international companies. On furlough, through most of 2020 and with the future looking increasingly bleak he decided to put one of his luxury silk ties up on eBay. It took months to sell but subsequently after that first sale in October 2021 he slowly began to put his entire luxury archive up for grabs. 4 years later this finely curated sustainable eBay virtual store is the result. For decades he had wanted to open his own shop, but with his corporate work life now over for good, it was the ‘not so perfect’ time to remold his future and to have the flexibility to be able to look after his elderly parents.     Received the package on a Sunday, quite a pleasant surprise, and very fast delivery (within 2 days). The pocket square is stunning and in like new condition, exactly as described.     Incredible service! The postage was in good time, the tie was exactly as described and shown in the photos, value for money was great, but the packaging was brilliant! Really well wrapped and even came with a kind hand written note and a bag of sweets! Will buy from them again 100%!
