Although the watch worked perfectly, one of the tiny sprung pins on the charger had gotten broken (possibly in transit) and so wouldn't charge. Within minutes of contacting the seller, he agreed to send out another charger by tracked post which arrived before the watch had even run out of charge! Very good customer support indeed. Thank you.
