Given the number of sales to the UK, it would be better if the seller used a shipping service that was all inclusive, rather than get the shock of the extra payment. To be fair seller did advise there may be a charge but at almost £50 I'd have not purchased the item had I known the cost. Seller needs to be more transparent and inform of all costs at the time of purchase, and not be vague saying there may be.

No one contacted me to take payment so was held up for several days and only when I contacted the courier did they finally take payment and release the package. Also once duties were added on worked out just as expensive as uk retailers. Highly recommend buying from uk retailer to save all the agro and emails / calls chasing who to pay duties to.
