About us
I have made Sussex Trugs for over a half century in East Sussex. Trugs really are the most cherished item by gardeners in the tool shed (not the gardeners, their Trug!) and will last for a generation and more (unless they back over it with a 4x4 which has happened). They are 'the' gift for those that have everything and so hard to buy for and they will think of you every time they use it. So much more worthwhile than a pair of slippers! My ex-mother-in-law bought me slippers every birthday and Christmas (which I never wore) 54 pairs of which are now are regularly selling here on eBay (Bought by those who don't know what a Trug is). My Trugs are also regularly featured in TV programmes as a receptacle for various culinary items and were voted 'The Best Trugs' by Gardeners World!
