N.o.s panels

N.O.S panels are getting hard to find,so one day there will only be panels from bikes that have been modified and the original panel stored for sale or resale.the O.E.M panel costs at the moment are high compared new bikes O.E.M panels but the Gilera ICE is not a common bike now so N.O.S panels are rare and getting scarce.To get this one at a good price was a bonus.maybe 10 years and you won't find any in the UK.Its hard to find them now...the amount of bikes getting restored to as new condition is getting less and less too so demand is not helping.many options exist to remove most ice panels and replace or modify them to achieve a custom look and panels from newly purchased bikes that have never seen damage or hard use are the only option when O.E.M panels dry up.ive got to get a few more bits for my rebuild but I'm going stock look and invisible power mods.no look at me chrome or bold Italian manufacturers names ..just standard look with a new paint job and cleaned up engine...not concourse..just normal...O.E.M is the only option for me as i don't want to waste time and money repairing rubbish and still be left with repaired rubbish.the resale losses are going to be less too.a bike with brand new panels is better than a repaired bike resale wise. My conclusion?. Go O.E.M Everytime and save the hassle of bad fit bad finish and bad quality....if you've got a European or Japanese bike...
