I phone 4s

This is a lovely phone to use, small and compact. The battery life seems to last well for me but then I don't spend much time on the Internet, facebook etc, I use my phone for making calls and sending text messages. Like I said it's easy to use, I ended up buying my mum and dad one also. The only downside it's the quality of the photos but then I have a a camera that sits in a drawer (like most people's) that takes beautiful quality photos, I think I will get it out and start to use it again. There is so much to do on this phone, well enough for me. I think anyone who buys this phone would be really pleased.Read full review...

Great phone, just like having your iPad in your pocket.

We have purchased two of these one for me and one for the wife. My only major negatives is battery life, you can extend the life by turning things off like Bluetooth, wifi, turn brightness down, but come on what is the point of have a great phone like the 4s and not being able to use it as you should. Having said that, this is a fantastic phone and to my mind it's biggest plus is it syncs everything from your iPad, so in essence you have a mini, mini iPad in your pocket, including calendar with all your dates etc and contacts.Read full review...

Definatley buy a 32gb

Needed the memory for the music. Definatley worth it, Battery life is really poor tho. I've upgraded from a Samsung smart phone and there was a notable difference

Excellent smartphone.
Rare electronic device, wherein the repair is worth.
But beware, for activation locked iPhones (bricked) that circulate on the market.

Good product but restricted by the availability of apps

Love it. However, Apple seem just too closed. You can't do very much outside of their restricted shop. I guess if you really want people to be loyal then you need to provide the same kind of breadth as your competitorsRead full review...

A worthwile upgrade from a 3gs and the best smartphone about

I purchased this phone as an upgrade from my old trusty 3gs.
The 3gs may have been old but it was still able to do the things newer smartphones do, but the camera was weak, it didnt have a torch which is very handy, the battery wasnt great, and at times more demanding apps could cause it to freeze.
The iphone 4s in a tyre cover looks very similar to my old phone, but the screen is much clearer, its a pleasure to read, i read e books on my phone, the 3gs gave me migranes, this doesn't the screen is that much clearer and easier to read.
The camera is superb, even the video function the quality of the video is on par with a camcorder.

Siri is a nice addition, i havent used it much yet, but so far it has worked ok.

The battery life is quite decent, the phone lasts all day, the old 3gs needed a charger with it at all times, this doesn't. Its by no means going to hold its charge as long as a nokia 3310 but it works quite well.

I have had the 3gs for 3 years, i am quite happy with using iOS devices, ive tried some android phones but i prefer the iphone.

Keeps you up-to-date with mobile technology for a while :)

Apple products tend to be good, and the 4S isn't an exception. Very smooth fast transitions between apps. Siri is entertaining to use as well, as long as you speak clearly.

Ease of use is good, though opening too many apps may cause the phone to crash to the opening screen, but reopening the app takes but a moment to do. Battery life lasts for a full day if you don't use it for much beyond taking calls and whatnot. If you play games, or take loads of pictures, that burns the battery life more, so make sure you have it regularly charged (or have one of those extra battery pack cases). The phone will need a screen protector if you dislike smudges on your screen. Also, it's not very hardy (like more smartphones) so a case is useful. The phone is naturally quite expensive, but it is aimed for the upper end of the smartphone market, so no real surprises there. Still, it's definitely a good phone, and a respectable piece of tech to carry.Read full review...
