Average but gets the job done
Average addition. For standard weights not Olympic. Cheap material but it does the job. The screws to hold the plates weren't really that great but it will get the job done for now as it was good for the priceRead full review

So So for the product,
After receiving these dumbbell handles the first thing I noticed was that the spinners on one handle would hardly go on the bar. It took real effort to turn them. I don't know if I can fault the people/company I bought them from It was more so the country that made the bars that have poor quality control.
Due to the virus the price was jacked up a lot as Walmart was selling the product for like $6 per bar as they are cheap bars. However supply and demand no one had bars available and I needed an extra set of bars so I paid the price.
As far as the company I bought them from I really don't have a problem with them as far as their shipping and notifications... these bars were not in the box as advertised they were shipped loose so perhaps the shippers could have checked that the spinner ends worked properly before shipping items that didn't work properly. Again it was just one bar with the issue and after sanding and filing down the coating on the threads of the bar I was able to get them to work better. Still, you shouldn't have to do that to a brand new item.
So anyway, they are in use now, so I got what I needed.Read full review

Plastic! Good grief.
Plastic!?!? You've got to be kidding :^ / These made of plastic! As a result you cannot spin the collars on and off. You must slowly twist them on and off. Unless you keep the weights the same all the time you will tire of these quickly. Absolutely ludicrous design. I would not trust these with much more than 30-40 lbs.Read full review

These are plastic. Still looks like a solid choice
Thought I was purchasing steel 1# bars to add to the ones I already own. Turns out they are hard plastic and should do the job. They are tight and comfortable to do bicep and triceps work. I’d buy them againRead full review

cheap
Buy these if it is all you can pay for but they are plastic junk. They should last a little while but you can't spin the collars on and off and the internal and external threads would not last long anyway. These will be a set with the same plates on for me all the time and won't be changed and they should last a long time that way.Read full review

Pass on these
These are not good replacements for steel dumbbell shafts. On steel you can “spin” the nut back on due to the inertia caused by the weight. These, because they’re plastic, you cannot. Valuable training time lost have to wrench that but back on every time you change plates. Will be replacing ASAP.Read full review

Nice Handles
The plastic coating is a great feature. Lessens the clanging and the grips are comfortable

Effective for cheap
Surprisingly strong for its build, good shaping on handle, the and the weight screws stay on well. Great for a cheap price.

Okay up to 50lbs
The material is not sturdy enough to use passed 50lbs. The twisting clamps come off on their own. You’ll need to purchase some locking clamps to secure the weights.
