Great performance nasty aroma

This shave lather surprised me with great performance. While very inexpensive this Clubman product gives fantastic glide and cushion as one shaves. Superior skin protection also. I’ve used it with three different blades and two shavers both vintage. I used a 1970s Schick injector razor, once with a Japanese made Schick blade and another time with a 1960s vintage Schick, Krona stainless blade. I also used Schick’s knockoff if the vintage Gillette Techmatic from the 1970s. Each shave was comfortable and I only received a couple of nicks when I used the very sharp Japanese blade. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the smell of the product. It has like perfume to it but it has a nasty strong coconut oil soap like smell with a wisp of menthol to it that I dislike. With some vigorous splashing of water most of this smell will wash away and your aftershave lotion should cover it up. Despite the nasty smell I recommend this product due to the great shaving performance.Read full review

Awesome Shaving Cream!

This is a very slick very easy to lather shaving cream with Menthol. It has a great cooling effect which is very helpful during the summer months.

I use this product with my Safety Razor and boy does this shaving cream perform really well. My Razor just glides across my skin like it's on glass! Zero pulling or tugging. My skin also feels smooth and hydrated after my shave. Read full review

A little dab will do ya..

Great product, softens the beard and the razor slides right through, for a very close shave. Face feels great, and the cream has a slightly soapy smell that works well with any Clubman aftershave, (or any aftershave, or none). You don't need much, so one tube will last a while, even if you are like me and don't shave on weekends! Work it into a bit of a lather, but don't rub it in, and you will do fine. I have the Clubman beard softener also, but don't really need it with this. If you have a thicker beard though, it would probably work well to use both.Read full review

Nice Creamy Lather with Light Clean Scent

The fragrance on this shaving cream gives a fresh scent while doing a fine job of protecting against razor irritation. It lathers and spreads easily(may be applied with shave brush or fingers) and a little goes a long way. Really poor foaming

I did want to like this, but I don't. It does not foam well at all, no matter how much you rub it into your face. Smells okay, but I wouldn't get it again.
