The Fiamma lock adds some extra security to what is the almost non-existent security of most Motorhome doors. One small criticism noted is that while the lock is in the open position the barrel of the lock protrudes and cannot be covered with the attached cover while driving. Fiamma door lock
I bought this Fiamma door to replace my existing one (damaged lock) - However, buyers beware. My old lock had a 13 cm throw when turned into the locked position. The new lock - which was an exact replacement, so no new holes - only has an 8.5 cm throw when in the locked position. Arguably it provides less security than the old style. This may cause some buyers to have to drill new fixing holes, in order for the lock to be in the best position. Not happy at all about that Fiamma 😠Read full review

Caravan security lock
The bolts supplied were too long so I had to cut them down the back plate would not fit because of the shelves inside the caravan so when I do modify it wasn't too bad a job but not straightforward

A straightforward fit as long as you can access the wall behind the edge of the locker door. Useful deterrent to add to the lock/latch on the compartment door. Nothing is impregnable though and I suspect a few hefty blows with a lump hammer would break this; but it might slow a thief down or make them go elsewhere.
