Another great book from Dr Hessayon

Clear, simple, accurate advice. My garden look much better than most of my neighbours and I don't spend anything like as much time fighting Nature as they do.

The only worry I have is that some of his older books, which mention specific varieties of plants, may benefit from being updated as some of them are hard to find and I don't know if more modern varieties are more suitable.Read full review...

Love these books soo much I bought every one they produced

up to the usual standard with D G Hessayon books and a very one.

I always find D.G.Hessayson books invaluable and didnt have this one in my collection of them.

It looks a really useful book as usual with these books it takes it back to basics for both the starter in the garden to the more advanced green fingers for reference.
