Adequate for first detector

Bought to replace my Garrett carrot stick. The pro pointer is a lower quality detector as indicated by the price. I was disappointed in the volume as it is very low. The sensitivity did surprise me as it performed better than I imagined. As noted on several videos the coil on the one I received was up the tube from the end. I tapped it a few times and it seated closer to the tip. Overall this would be a great back-up or first detector. I will purchase a White’s later as I would like a detector with the sensitivity located in just the tip, not up and down the probe.Read full review

Does the job and more.

Great lightweight product that helps me pinpoint my finds,also use it to find a stud for a picture frame. The only thing I would change is the battery area. A red dot to ID the proper placement of the battery would be nice. Other than that a nice item at a good price.Read full review

Good pinpointer

I've used several pinpointers, from cheap to very expensive.
This pinpointer is quite accurate for being as cheaply priced as it is. I like the proximity alert it has at a decent distance of a few inches. Much like higher end models, at a quarter of the price. I've seen Metal Detector companies slap their name on a pinpointer and charge $100's of dollars, its ridiculous.
This brand and model is as good as any expensive ones.

Awesome for the price!

For ~ $25 it's a steel. Very well made. Very sensitive and spot-on precise. You could buy one from a big-name brand that is identical for $150. At $25, one could purchase two or three as backups if one gets damaged or fails. This has helped me in my digging quite nicely!Read full review

It's fine; you get what you pay for.

It doesn't have the breadth or reach of one of those "beach" detectors. You have to walk bent over to use it on the ground.
