PROBLEM SOLVED with this product's help.
Had a problem with the airbag light on car for a year bought this product. This then identified the problem part and I was able to fix without costly garage repairs. The car had gone in the year before with this problem and had a fix but the problem came back. It had cost me over £123.00 at that time. I have now fixed it with the help of this device highlighting the problem. I have great peace of mind knowing that this problem is gone and dident realise how it was always on my mind thinking of the dreaded m.o.t . Glad I bought this product and I know it's not something you use every day but to take in in the garage and have them put a scanner on it was costing me £20.00 a time . Loads of information retrieved from OBD connector of my Peugeot diesel - I'm still discovering features available with this reader but I've already used it to clear Engine management light on dash (and it hasn't as yet come back on). The scanner is well made and well packaged with its own rigid holder so I'll be leaving it safely stored in the car for any future hiccups. My only bugbear is that the displayed messages are quite small - this may be due to so much information being on screen at any one time but it may also be my poor eyesight. A must have item
I’m definitely no mechanic, but this can save you a fortune. It cost me £60 for the garage to tell the fault with air bag, if I had this before I went I could have told them. My old one I have doesn’t do air bag faults so this is well worth the extra money. I keep it in my camper so when travelling around Europe I can show the mechanic and not get ripped off, not that I’ve ever had a fault while abroad but you never know. Some faults can be as simple as a bulb out. It’s simple to use and tells you everything on the screen it does do fancy tekkie things but that’s beyond me I just need it to tell me the fault and turn the light off on the dash when fixed. Used on VW, BMW & Renault so far. Showed airbag fault on VW with long description allowed me to find problem fix it. Then used this to clear fault.
I own another version cheap Chinese one but it doesn’t handle airbag and abs faults, this unit handles them all.

Boom SRS Light sorted
Cracking bit of kit. I was able to reset the SRS light after bypassing the airbag sensor with a 3 ohm resister when I changed the seatbelt from one with a pretensioner to one without. The local garage were not able to reset it but this car diagnostic tool was able. Money well spent.
