excellent phone
I really like this phone. highly recommended. I was looking for an iphone 4 but then i came across this nokia n8 which was cheaper and really good for the money value. I always liked nokia phones and this is one to get at the moment.Read full review...

this phone is all good the 12 mp cam is verry good easy to use like all other nokia best in n serise verry responsive to touch compared to n97 and such looks nice 2 1 of best phones ever had

Si il telefono è spettacolare, oltre alle innumerevoli funzioni, cosa più importante è la resistenza, a differenza di altri dispositivi simili, che appena arrivano a terra,probabilmente te li sei giocati....
ha un telaio bello compatto e dal design azzeccato...
Fotocamera con impostazioni, che neanche la mia compatta Sony possiede, e che neanche io so cosa sono Video in Hd fluidissimi e spettacolari alla luce
Giochi e applicazioni fluidissime, senza intoppi, ed accelerometro fantastico...
HDMI, usb, audio fantastico con le cuffie in dotazione sembra che c'e il subwofer, uno spettacolo .....
Nokia per me è ha fatto un capolavoro, per il rapporto qualità prezzo.. cioè un telefono cosi se lo avrebbe fatto la apple te lo faceva pagare 1000 euro, e contando che il telefono serve in prima cosa per telefonare, Nokia non ha rivali in questo.....

Nokia N8 - great camera
It is a great device. The things i like:
- camera is great - 12 Mega pixels, amazing HD video if there is sun light, mechanical shutter, xenon flash
- big display and nice design of the plastic casing
- built in FM transmitter to play your music on your car radio
Stuff i don't like:
- UI is very difficult to use, confusing menus
- Multi-touch is not working as expected, pinch and zoom on pictures has 500 mS lag at least
- The GPS application is kind of funny
Overall rating:
- HW - 10 out of 10
- SW - 4 out of 10

Nokia N8
I can see why there are so many up for sale, many after free upgrade. Changing phone is always going to have a learning curve. I'm on that curve and it is taking many hours to get to grips with this phone. I am getting there though and feel it is going to be worth it. The camera is my main buying point and although it is undoubtedly an excellent piece of hardware the software side is proving quite unintuitive. I've used computers etc. for 30 years, just about every day, and I'm struggling at times. Maybe I'm getting too old for all this jazz. I don't think so though.
Anyway. I'm persevering as I know it will be worth it in the end.
All that said, I am very happy with my new phone. I just want to become happier.

This is a good handset no doubt. Its main selling point is the whopping 12 mp camera with HD recording. It even has a HDMI port so you can connect it directly to a HD television. A cable is even provided saving time and hassle in finding one. The app store for nokia , OVI, is getting there but has some decent apps for now.
Phone has a quick response capacitive touch screen along with a nice aluminium body. All in All a very good handset and i would never hesitate to recommend it. For those music lovers, it even has an FM transmitter!.Read full review...
Wow what a phone!
I absolutely love this phone! I fell in love with it the moment I saw it and just had to get it, and since i've got it I can say the novelty hasn't worn off! I was wary from all the bad reviews about problems with it but I haven't had any problems at all. The specifications are extremely appealing as well as it's beautiful exterior. The 12mp camera definitely does it for me. This is simply an incredible phone, and I wouldn't change it for the world!Read full review...

Would like to read books on it but so far cant figure how to do that.
