A very good vacuum pump

This is a superb pond vacuum if you understand it. Its only real problem is its drain, but if you are prepared for it the problems are minimal.
When using it I placed it on a stool to give some hight to the outlet, the only problem then arose when the outlet valve jammed open, due to a piece of gravel. This valve is a simple flap so is easy to fix.
The amount of mud and water this pulls out is quite substantial, so care is required in the placement of the drain.

Pool sludge vavuum

Works well enough, easy to use and good tools. However, 25 secs for vacuuming is a very short time, followed by 25 sec discharge. Discharge pipe really needs to be on level as any elevation inhibits discharge. So, OK for less than 500 gallon pools but spend more on bigger poolsRead full review

Simple to use

Been looking for a pond hoover to get the fine debris out from my pond and this has been a very simple solution. Simple to use and easy to empty debris out. I'm sure regular use will see my pond clouding reduce rapidly.Read full review

it worked well

simple and easy to use. cleaned out my pond used it to pump the pond water in to 2 wheelie bins then recovered the 50 gold fish by hand (net). vacuumed to muddy water onto garden borders. then used the vacuum to set up a syphon from the bins back into the pond.
then i used it to clear a puddle formed by power washing the paving dumping the water onto the garden borders

Too slow to be called a pond Vac. unless your pond was a Bath Tub

It pumps for 25 seconds, then switches itself off then empties the drum.
Then repeats this until you plug it out. The drum holds 30 ltrs.
There are too bigger ones a 4 and a 5 with the 5 pumping continuously.
When I went looking I did not find either of these and thought I was buying the best available.
No ones fault except my own but the product is really too slow anyway.
Also the outflow has to be set lower than the inflow or it will not work.
If you have a big pond you would want a field to pump away the sludge.

Pond Vacuum

It certainly works well but keep it away from any baby fish because it has a good suction unfortunately I lost one.

very powerfull pond vacuum

.These vacs are perfect, I borrowed my wife's muslim washing bag and put it on the end of the drainage pipe and there is very little loss of water, didn't realise how much silt there was in the pond, it's all gone into the composter. Would highly recommend these to anyoneRead full review

Just what I needed.

It has solved a problem that I have had for years.Getting the winters worth of rain, leaves etc. off the cover of my swimming pool to prepare it for the Summer. Saved me hours of toil and hard work. Drank up all the mucky, smelly mess and deposited it under the hedge where it will feed plants.Read full review
