A gentle but effective cleansing soap for both men and women.
PURPOSE Gentle Cleaning Bar is indeed a mild and effective lathering bar that removes the daily dirt and oil that our skin picks up. It does not over-dry and was designed for sensitive skin -- but it is a great choice even for those who do not have sensitive skin! Using PURPOSE gives one a healthy looking complexion whether you are male or female. I hope the men out there are reading this! I fortunately starting using mild soaps when I was in college as a young man. Since then many have remarked that I look younger than my actual years. I mention this not to boast but to point out the benefits of starting to use milder soaps like PURPOSE as part of a daily face washing routine. One thing men will notice is that shaving becomes easier and quicker once a soap like PURPOSE is their choice. Also, PURPOSE has very good rinse qualities which make it a pleasure to use and finish up with. Women have known for generations the value of a good face soap -- just walk down the aisles of the health and beauty section of a department store. PURPOSE was developed with dermatologists and has no scent to speak of and is oil-free, hypoallergenic, and will not clog pores. It is an effective soap for everyone that is gentle on the skin. I recommend trying it and I don't feel it is overly expensive when compared to other brands. A 6 oz. bar last a very long time too! (PURPOSE is available in a liquid pumps also.)Read full review

This is not really a soap it is just a cleansing bar.I have been using it for five years because I have a skin condition and it does not in any way to irritate my skin or cause any problems at times I have even used it to shampoo my hair. it is a little higher in price than a regular bar of soap but I'll probably not go back to using anything but just as long as I can get itRead full review
