Offbeat look at a major much examined event

A film about the normal characters who got embroiled in the Kennedy Assassination due to being there when it happened sound boring but is anything but. This low budget film shot very creatively to recreate events conveys very accurately what it must have been like.

From Zapruder with his love of movie cameras capturing the whole event to the hospital staff at Parkland (from which the film derives its title) where Kennedy's near death body was transported followed a few days later by Lee Harvey Oswald after he was shot and treated by the same medical staff, the fast shot action does not falter with its attention to detail.

Most fascinating aspect for me was the existence of Lee Harvey's brother (played amazingly by Ron Livingston) who worked in Dallas and gets caught up in events about whom I had never heard before seeing the film.
