Great scary 90s film

Not such a well known film but very entertaining if a little obvious at times. Well worth a watch. Very good acting from Bacon.

I enjoyed this movie and would watch again, I have recently taking to liking Kevin Bacon as an actor and he didn't disappoint in this film. Good storyline.

Fantastic Supernatural Thriller

Kevin Bacon stars in this movie and is happily living with his partner and their young son. At a party he is hypnotised just for fun but soon starts seeing scary visions and feels he is not alone in his house. Someone or something is trying to tell him something. He then rearalises this vision is telling him to solve a crime which he must do before time runs out for him and his family.

I found this film superb. Gripping from start to end. Great storyline, very intense. Kevin was superb and the film had plenty of jumps and a couple of gory bits which made me cringe( takes quite alot for me to cringe). The nail bit is really cringe worthy. If you like a good supernatural thriller with plenty of action and a plot that is not easy to guess where it is going, Stir of Echoes is your cup of tea.

Great thriller!

Tom Witzky (Kevin Bacon) is a blue-collar worker, a family man, the most ordinary guy in the world who is about to be plunged into a shattering encounter with another world. And it doesn't matter that Tom doesn't believe in the supernatural. Because something supernatural has started to believe in Tom.

After he is hypnotized at a neighbourhood party, Tom changes. He sees things he can't explain and hears voices he can't ignore.
