I bought this so I could connect my HP USB/Ethernet color laser print to my wireless network. It was easy to set up and works perfectly. I highly recommend it for making printers wireless capable.

Probably good in it's day

Obsolete. I should have done more homework before buying. This device requires an old version of Windows to be set up. Also not possible to set up on Mac os. I followed several forum instructions.
The problem is that for whatever reason the device settings only allow one change at a time. Meaning the wireless settings and the IP. This was obviously designed when wireless networks weren't as popular. If I add the worked network and password I must reset. Well then I can not access the device in the network since I cannot update the IP settings to receive DHCP server the same time. Frustrated.Read full review

This item works well with both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1
I just wished the printer-server USB cable was a little bit longer. It is a bit clumsy to install with such a short cable.
