good mudguard for 28" touring bikes
I installed this mudguard on older Nishiki International 700c touring bike. Bike is from late 80's. Mudguard was tight fit on top of post, between brake cable and finally under rear rack which nicely holds it in place. Without rear rack it points quite a lot upwards, but it works that way as well. I've tried both. This mudguard keeps my back clean and dry. Installation was quite easy. I've included a picture of my installation method. My bike is bit dirty because I do drive cyclocross/dirt road by myself sometimes and I haven't cleaned it up in a week or so. Installed rear rack back just a few days ago.Read full review...

Light, smart and effective.
This mudguard really fits well and stays in place on bumpy roads. Adjusted to 1cm from the tyre it keeps rear light, saddle bag and rider's back clear of spray. It even looks decent on a road bike. Obviously not a full mudguard, so brake caliper and front chainset get no protection from roadspray, but it still makes a huge difference in practice. lightweight and well made.
The 'reflector' is angled toward the left hand side (better suiting countries that drive on the right) but that's not a deal breaker.Read full review...
