Panasonic Lumix® DMC-FZ7 Digital Camera
32 of 34 found this helpful this camera has every thing, 12 times OPTICAL zoom + electronic stabilization, 5m pixels. It has every option you could want, point and shoot, aperture priority, shutter priority, manual. Auto and manual focus, up to 60sec exposure.
And preset options:- night shot, panoramic. There is one down side it does have its on battery which take about 350 pics and from panasonic costs £50, But there is good news on ebay you can pay as low as £12. The camera is by no means small but but fit well in the hand and is not too heavy.
All in all a great camera that can be used from David Baily to me gran.

Cheap but not bad
2 of 2 found this helpful This lense is not one of the best but if you are working on a buget and want a long lens this is the one. To get the best out of it you need a tripod and a remote shutter release or self timer. photos at maximum zoom are a bit soft but back it off to 380mm and they are a lot better. Keep the apature to F8 or above for best results.
A well constructed lens made of metal mkes it quite heavy if you were to carry it all day. All in all with a bit of work it can take great pictures not the best if you blow them up poster size , but on a 17" monitor vry good.

Sony cyber-shot dsc-u20
1 of 1 found this helpful The first thing you notice is how small it is, 88mm x 37mm x 23mm inc lens cover. The display is 20mm x 15mm though small it is good enought. There is no view finder but with the back light turned off you can see the diplay even in bright sun light, in fact the more light the better you can see.
On a 128mb card you can get 177 pictures, this is a great little point and shoot camera. Small enought to fit in your pocket but with the quality you came to expect from Sony. There is no zoom like i said this is a basic camera just right for partys or a night out.
I brought this camera for my 12 year old son to take on a school holiday to the south of france. The camera was not that expensive so if it was to get lost it did not matter. He brought it back with some great photos and all his mates thought it cost 2-3 hundred pounds if fact the teachers wanted to put it in the safe and phoned me to ask was it ok for him to have it. This is not our main camera but when ever we go out we take it with us. great little snapper and if you get it for the right price it's an amazing bargin.
