2nd Casio label printer
I'd previously purchased one of these at a swapmeet - cheap. It worked for several years, but finally part of the print head failed. AFAIK, no replacement parts are available, so it went to recycling. Until then, it was very useful. You'll need to read the instruction manual (available readily on-line) to know how to use some more advanced features, multi-line, different fonts, etc., but basic label printing is pretty straight-forward - just read the keyboard. It would have been nice to have a more detailed display -
The label tape may need some extra adhesive, depending on what you're trying to label (they didn't stick so well on a crinkle-paint finish tool box, but worked well for labeling cables, or on a smooth varnished surface).
For the price, this is a nifty handy tool - much more versatile than a Dymo (trademarked) label maker, and does a much nicer job. Label tape stock is readily available from a number of sources.

Easy setup for an experienced pilot, interesting function, low cost
1 of 1 found this helpful The basic setup of this gyro is fairly easy. (I also am experienced with regular RC helicopters & their gyros.) I installed it in a friend's (who needed some piloting assistance) airplane, at the recommendation of a fellow club member. The plane is a Big Stik 20, with a re-purposed .32 helicopter engine (plenty of power!). I mounted the unit with Zeal gel adhesive out of concern for engine vibration. The setup with the pushbutton sequence is a bit tedious, but is only needed once. One trick not well documented is how to calibrate for 'level' - you need to point the nose of the plane upward quite a bit *above* level, to get the gyro to actually hold the plane in level flight. This may take a couple test flights to get it right.
Once calibrated, and flown in the "auto balance" mode, with optimum gain settings, the results are impressive. Put the plane in some strange attitude, release the sticks, and it will go back to straight & level in a second. For sone rc pilots, this may be needed. For an experienced pilot, it is annoying, as it 'fights you' for manuevers, and even on a simple banked turn it requires holding aileron inputs continuously through the turn (contrary to normal piloting). (In 'normal' mode, the gyro is not so noticeable.)
Landings with auto balance on are interesting- the gyro does a nice job of holding the airplane level even in a cross wind.

Gotta have this for a DSM2 Spektrum receiver
This particular satellite is the only one that will allow certain Spektrum DSM2 receivers, such as the AR6200, to work correctly. Nearly everything else sold today is DSMX type(s) which will not work properly with the older DSM2 receivers.
