Looks good - doesn't work
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this because it was a lot less expensive than a Bosch original. It looked good in the packet. However, when I came to fit it I found it was a couple of millimetres thinner than the original blade so that, even when the retaining bolt was fully tightened, the new blade was loose. Undeterred, I fitted a rubber packing washer between the blade and the bolt head. Everything now good and tight. But it didn't shred at all. Gap between the cutting edge of the blade and the fixed plate that guides the material in not correct maybe? Dismantled again and refitted the packing washer under the blade. Reassemble and test. Useless. I've ordered a proper Bosch blade.
