Easy to read

Does the job. More robust than its predecessor

Unreliable

Bought two thermometers. Getting random readings when making jam so have tried using both and comparing - they give different readings. Haven’t yet tried replacing the batteries. Interestingly, they seem fairly reliable when used under the tongue to take body temperature! I suspect I should have paid more and bought a quality product
