Check that you can get a set of Nickel Zinc - 2.6V) rated batteries,
My first review, since normally auction based purchases tend to speak for themselves, IMO.
Bought S/H. with no apparent or reported problems.
Sadly this camera appears to need High voltage and HI-current Batteries. Standard NiMH Alkaline NO NOT work leading to immediate shutdown of the camera. So, I have ordered a pack of ZiNc or Nickel Zinc rechargeables from China. 2.6V at as high a current as possible. It's the low voltage of NIMH types that is the problem; at typically 2.1V real, when measured, in a fully charged condition, with an accurate AVO digital multimeter, and this is not enough Power (P = V × I) even with given alkaline stated currents.
Others on the web have reported similar issues in reference in particular to this camera. Obviously this camera uses more volts and power overall, than other makes of camera.
So far therefore even after some considerable time since my eBay S/H purchase, I have still not been able to use it.
When purchasing one of these, bear this in mind.

Read the Book first, or as well as, at least! Use your mind's Eye.
Lacking a lot of the lustre and writing flair which Petite featured in his book, from which this video was drawn upon. Petite admits at the end of the film that this partly independent documentary/film has such shortfalls, and even some inaccuracy regarding his emotional involvement in the project of the WTC Towers wire-walk and his response to News reports etc.
The book, as any well written book should be, stirs the reader to use his own imagination and as it did in my case even inspired me to seek to excel in my own meagre tasks of cabling and rigging work that I was involved in whilst reading this book.
Better You read the book as well or preferably prior to seeing the movie:

A Meditative, Self-Deprecating, Poetic & Melodic Masterstroke.
A great record introduced to me by the humorous BBC Radio Foyle (LondonDerry) Jock Gerry Anderson on his now defunct FM morning show which featured Gerry's own take on the meaning of 'Alternative'. I wouldn't have heard it anywhere else, as no-one plays it. It's a poetic offering, which features as Amazon.com describe it Shatner in decidedly "Self-Deprecating ... Poetic" and I'd add reflective mood. He's as meditative as a human who has lived with a Vulcan but still angry at the crazy world around him. He reflects on his image as the man who saved the world on the big-screen so many times, "So People presume that when disaster strikes, I must be the person to call, that I'll know what to do. I'm not the man to call, and sorry to disappoint you but I'm real". There's no disappointment with this record though. He pulls off unlikely subject matter like reflections in prose upon his (or someone else's?) relationship with his daughters, which is incredibly good humoured & honest. I loved it from the first BBC Northern Ireland hearing and have played it thousands of times already. It's loaded in my player at this moment by chance. Shatner was living out of a van, travelling around looking for work a few years ago so the story goes, as Gerry Anderson told on his equally commendable radio show. So, go out and buy this CD on eBay and give your ears a swell treat. Maybe our old Starship Hero might produce something equally memorable and deeply meaningful in the future.
