Problem with Lithium battery
6 of 9 found this helpful I have had two of these in two weeks and both have the same problem. They charge and work perfectly when kept on the charger and it is plugged in. If you unplug the charger or go away for a night taking just the toothbrush, it doesn’t work. It flashes red indicating it needs charging even though it is fully charged. You have to put it on the charger for a couple of seconds to clear the fault and then it work perfectly again. One doing this would just be unfortunate fault. But two doing exactly the same within days of purchase. It seems there is a manufacturing fault that needs to be addressed.

An excellent all round 3d camera, the best available in a limited market
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a brilliant camera for 3d pictures and the quality of 3d video at 720p is very good, don't be put off by what some purists may say about the quality of video. I view the pictures and video on a top end 50inch Panasonic 3d tv and the quality is stunning. 3d or stereo photography is different to 2d so you need to experiment to learn how to get the best results. I secured the W3 brand new at a very very keen price on ebay. If it is just 3 d photos as opposed to video/film that you want, the W1 is the same rating for photos as the W3 and you can probably pick one up a bit cheaper. The W3 has 720p video and a better and larger lcd 3d screen. Bu frankly unless you have a 3d tv, there is very limited value in just viewing the 3d photos on the camera lcd, it is much too small.
If it's 3d video that you really want there is only one camcorder currently on the market that does the business for ordinary, non professional users, that is the Sony TD20VE which I also own and its results are truly amazing and a significant step up from the fuji, but that is what you would expect given the price differential. It is brilliant in 2d and 3d, the quality is all the amateur needs and could wish for.
3d/stereo photography is still relatively in its infancy as far as digital equipment is concerned, with little choice of equipment for the interested amateur. So for stills the W1 or W3 are effectively the camera available, and the Sony the only camcorder. The Panasonic SD900 with the 3d lens attachment is also available, but not as compact as the Sony and the 3d is not as good, as the Sony actually has twin lens and sensors.
