    The Next-to-last stand?
The DVD includes bonus features such as alternate endings. As an X-men fan from the beginning of the original comic book in the 1960s, I found this movie to be true to the characters, the Marvel universe, and yet created new plot twists. I won't include any spoilers, but although several major characters die, there is definitely a strong potential for more X-Men films. I was very glad to see Kitty Pride given a bigger role in this movie, closer to the role she played in the comic book. the film spent a large part of it concerning Jean Gray becoming the Phoenix. This version also included a comic book, which is not great, but definitley a collectable item. Any fan of the X-Men series should own this DVD.

I bought it based on recommendations - they were right
I heard from several people that they really enjoyed this movie and that I should see it. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to see it in the movie thearer, so when the DVD came out, I bought it. This is a really fun movie. It's a really good cartoon, with animation quality like that of Finding Nemo. The plot is familiar and has been around in different forms forever, the mixture of drama and humor. However, having the characters being cars and everything in the movie is related to the car motif is very enoyable. The main character is a race car that suddenly finds itself under arrest in a small backwater town where the other cars just are not impressed with his celebrity. It is thoroughly enjoyable and definitely worth watching multiple times. You don't have to be a kid to enjoy it either, I'm 53. I recommend it.

Excellent movie for fans of the NPR radio show
If you like the National Public Radio show, a Prairie Home Companion, then you should really enjoy this movie. Some characters are brought to life (please excuse the misspellings, but I am writing this in a hurry during a work break ;-) through Woody Harrison, Meryl Streep, Lilly Tomlyn, Kevin Kline and others. It includes some of the standard "Guy Noir" stuff, and the "Lefy and Dusty" humor. Even "bad jokes" are included. The extras on the DVD include extended songs and acts. Garrison Keeler plays himself, including his self-depricating humor. Some people who are not familiar with a Praire Home Companion radio show might not understand it, or even like it. It will definitely appeal to fans of the show. Highly recommended
