About

I m a photographer not a trader. Most of the gear I sell either had a place in my own bag or stock from my studio/workshops that is being sold on despite often seeing very little use. As a photo tutor I am always happy to help with aftersales advice

It's yellow, it's ink, like all brand ink it's overpriced.
Been asked to write a review for Canon BCI-6Y Ink cartridge! What is there to say? It's Yellow. It's the right yellow for the job. It works in Canon printers. Oh, and it's incredibly overpriced! But aren't all ink cartridges? To get a bit more out of your cartridges IGNORE the software when it tells you to replace them, for at least another 10 or 11 sheets of A4.
Nikon Nikkor AF D 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 Macro Zoom Lens Japan GREAT SAMPLE

Great alternative to the 24-120 f4
Okay, so you'll get better IQ from a 24-120 and more range. But one of those will cost you another £550. With that money you could have the 28-105 as a walkabout lens for web and A4 prints (where nobody will discern the difference), plus a couple of nice fast primes for when you're printing really big and sharpness is crucial. The latter was the choice I made. I've written a 'Real World' review, with sample pictures, which you can find by searching the terms: weebly, 28-105 and doss@yours
