Good substitute for an Aprilaire humidistat
This was used to replace an Aprilaire duct mounted humidistat that was not defective, but would not go above 45% humidity setting. It was a duct mounted unit, and while the humidity in the house was running about 35% in winter, the air, running thru the crawlspace duct, was apparently being cooled enough to raise the relative humidity above 45% by the time it got to the furnace, and so would only turn on the humidifier when the inside humidity was extremely low. This Honeywell unit is capable of a higher setpoint and allows it to operate correctly, to provide humidity to the house at the proper 30-40% range here in Virginia in winter. It was smaller than the Aprilaire unit, so required the old opening to be covered with a new metal plate and the correct opening cut in that new plate. They mention an installation box, but almost impossible to locate one. With proper gasketing, it works okay without, but would have been less work with it. It would be absolutely essential to have that box if you plan to install this in an interior wall and not a duct mount as described here.

Good Brush for Small Openings
Just what was needed to clean the dryer vent. Small enough to fit between the vent slats and long enough to reach most of my vent line. Old School construction. Wood, metal, and bristles.

Same as the Original
Original battery's performance had dropped to about 40 minutes before it would 'die'. Put this one in the X230 (after charging) and now back to 7-8 hrs of runtime, same as it had been when the laptop was new.
