The Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence
I think the state of the book was so bad that I would have preferred to pay more than receive a book in this state. However, the content was amazing. The condition of the means I cannot keep it in my library.

WORKS FOR ME
Unfortunately I suffer with a Thyroid problem and it really affects the skin on my hands and my nails. My hands are always extremely dry, especially before bed. I have tried many hand creams, but accidentally I was given a partially used tube of this product. It said rub in and leave for 10 minutes and wash off. The effect on my hands was so soothing that I decided to not wash it off. Luckily for me, it did not cause a skin reaction. I also wear cotton gloves to retain the effect of this hand cream at night.
I will not say it has cured my ridged nails but I see a great improvement and my hands are not so dry. I will continue to use this product, potentially forever.
Give it a go, but remember to check for a skin reaction to the Camphor Oil.
