Interesting Machine
5 of 7 found this helpful The Oculus is quite different than any other console, so the novelty alone is enticing. Once the machine is running, you are transported to a brand new reality, which is incredible. The visuals are solid although the resolution is nowhere near the Sony PS4 Pro (4K), but again, it is a completely different animal. The controls are intuitive, and the game play is smooth. My kids were so excited to try it, and they played it consistently for about two weeks. After that, it began collecting dust. Why? Not sure. Maybe the "isolation" of playing alone got boring. When you play, you are completely separated from everyone else, so it's difficult to share in the joy of the conquest. While the Oculus is nicely built and high quality, the price was not worth the investment.
