Condition it first

Modern batteries are not supposed to need conditioning, but this one seems to. Probably my ignorance and not the product. Leaving it on initial charge till the green light came on showed a below capacity reading on the camera (EOS 7D Mk II) and a significant degradation in capacity over 30 minutes without using it. Charging for 24 hours seems to have stabilised it at 100% and normal degradation. Time will tell.
