I had a white vinyl coated sink grid for years. It was time for a change to the stainless steel. These sink grids are very sturdy, fit into the sink very well, and line up with the drain quite nicely as well. It really does protect the sink. I have had my Shaws farm sink for 15 years. It still looks like new because the grid protects it from getting scratched or from any other sort of damage. I also purchased one for my daughter who has a stainless steel sink. She has had it now for 4 years. It prevents the sink from getting scratched by pots , pans, silverware, etc... I recommend a sink grid to every kitchen sink if you wish to prolong the life of the sink and have it always looking like new.
