Great watch for the price
works for what I wanted it for.

There's a reason you can buy a brand new Nixon watch this inexpensively.
2 of 4 found this helpful I can see why Nixon apparently dumped these on the open market this way. The display is barely legible sans direct light. The backlit feature doesn't help this flaw. The strap/band is actually two piece on each side with the bottom piece made of a seatbelt type material that has a blunt rough end that is extremely uncomfortable. I have continued wearing it to see if that would improve and it has slightly and hopefully will continue to do so. I am going to try a new battery to see if that brightens up the display but I doubt. Bottom line, it looks cool and it appears that if you ride out the stiffness period of the nylon part of the band it isn't terrible. It is not something to rely on for an everyday watch though.
