If you loved “Dandelion Wine”, I would not recommend this book. It is not his best writing in my opinion. After reading 1/3 of the book I quit. I couldn’t take anymore.I was disappointed as I was looking for a return to the feel of “Dandelion Wine”. I suppose my preconceptions ruined it for me, but it felt like his writing in this book was a parody of his earlier writings. That’s my two cents for what it is worth.
