Nylon line, buy it !!!
If you're cutting nylon line get one of these, there great.

The most beautiful sounding, versatile guitar I have ever experienced.
I have couple of Martins including a sweet HD-28, recently I heard a great demo of a Gibson Songwriter and I had to have one, I purchased a 2011 guitar. The Gibson has tonal quality that in addition to the powerful bass, crystal clear mids and great sustain, has a 'sparkling' or 'singing' tone to it. It is great for strumming, flat picking and finger picking. It is beautifully constructed and easy to play.
I initially installed a set of Martin Lifespan SP strings and it just did not sound right, so I order a set of Gibson Masterbuilt Premium Phosphor Bronze .012 -.053. That did the trick and gave the guitar the beautiful full sound that I had been expecting.The guitar is well worth the money.
