Great little media player! Even plays 720p MKV with AC3.
1 of 1 found this helpful Plays just about everything from low res AVi to 720p MKVs (show me another tablet, aside from Samsung Tab, which can!), and is an ideal semi-tablet for casual use. It's too big for a phone and too small for a pukka tablet, but the perfect size for a media player that happily plays most of the formats you'd usually download or rip yourself. Happy with MKVs with AC3 audio, so that's pretty much the majority covered, and also does well with low res and oter stuff.
Plays Angry Birds etc well (though not as good as a 7/10" tablet) and the screen is excellent even if not AMOLED...great in normal light but not so clear in bright sun etc.
Overall, for the price you can get these for, they're a bargain! Who'd want an iPod Touch?

A Thule ProRide 598 ... but far, far cheaper!
1 of 1 found this helpful It's a Thule ProRide 598 but slightly darker grey colour and with 'Volvo' not 'Thule' written on it.
For just over half the price of the Thule labelled one, this is an absolute bargain. I now have six and they're easy to fit, easy to put the bike in/out use, hold bikes REALLY solidly and the darker colour looks better, IMO.
Just buy 'em and get out riding!

Excellent fire and with TWO mesh bases it should last a few trips
Amazing! Was dubious at first at how it'd work and how stable it would be. When fully assembled (2-3mins) it's a little wobbly on grass but as soon as you get some logs on it, it's rock solid.
Gave it some hammer in The Lakes over a week and it worked brilliantly.
With four quarter logs and some kindling the flames are high and consistent, and far more than you get from a normal fire pit as the mesh 'bottom' allows maximum air.
I tried using less wood and it works as well, with good clean flames, less smoke and max heat radiated outwards (not just up like a bowl/pit).
The only niggling downsides; you'll burn logs quicker (but you'll need fewer for same heat), you need to really douse the ground with water as the heat will dry and then burn even the wettest grass, the mesh will eventually 'rip' if you fold it (so roll it around something instead!) ... and if you like a fire then you'll spend hours by it just feeding it wood and marvelling at the flames.
