Straight replacement part.
Straight replacement for failed Vax Blade 4 sweeping head. Fitted without problems, worked fine. Can't comment on longevity - the original head on the machine when bought only lasted 14 months before failing completely (no brush rotation, no light).
An expensive part, at over 25% of the total cost of the new machine.

Does the job
Replaced a previous sensor which stopped working after about 8 years on an exposed wall. This fitted in perfectly, and if anything was more controllable - no problem getting the settings right.
Update - still working perfectly after 9 months.
