Excellent documentary
Stephen Fry is an outstanding advocate for people who, like him (and me) are manic depressive. His documentary tells of his experience and those of other famous and not-so-famous people who have the illness, also called bipolar disorder. It is detailed, easy to understand, engaging and tells about diagnosis, treatment and the course of the illness and how to cope with it. I saw the video on YouTube and was impressed with it and decided to purchase a copy of my own.
One warning, though: Some copies of this DVD were published in the UK and some in the US so it is important to make sure you get one that will play in your DVD player or device.

exciting book
This book is the second in the Valdemar Herald Mage series and is the best of the three. The story is exciting, edge of your seat stuff, and the characters are relatable, even though they have magic powers.
