    Dark Water
When I first went to see Dark Water at the cinema, I literally jumped out of my seat and swore at one point (much to the amusement of the audience). In the film, Nakata uses long hair in the same way as he did in the Ring, and Dark Water also obviously borrows visual elements from other films such as Don't Look Now. What you get therefore is not a necessarily original horror film, but one that combines influences from a number of sources to excellent effect. In a way however, it isn't the horror that is central to the film, but the relationship between mother and daughter. Although it has been criticised from the standpoint that, one again, it is the mother making the sacrifice (apparently, this is partly a reflection of the traditional subservient role women have had in Japanese society) I can't imagine anyone watching this film whose sympathies wouldn't lie entirely with the mother, rather than the father. Rather than the horror aspect, what struck me about the film this time is how incredibly sad it is (in the same way as Kim Ji Woon's "Tale of Two Sisters"). Keep a box of hankies handy!!!

    Lovely, bold and bright rug
This rug looks spectacular and certainly adds a splash of very bold colour to the room. Quality is fine, although it does slip and "ruttle up" a bit those aren't major problems.

    Wonderful album, great bonus CD
This CD is great. Cover condition was pretty good, CD's play perfectly and of course Mr Scruff is phenomenal.
