Awesome functional sword!
This sword is not pretty (still pretty cool to look at, though), but it is super well made. It is indeed full tang. Handle is peened on securely. The hand guard appears to be very securely fastened to the tang (possibly peened?) The pommel is also peened on. This thing will definitely take a beating. If you are going to use it for HEMA training, I would suggest wrapping the handle with hockey stick tape. It is a little on the heavy side for a hand and a half sword. It is dull, but an edge could easily be put on it. I love this sword! Super cool and worth every penny!
