One of the best super-zooms ever made.
I have long lusted after this lens - now discontinued for four-thirds. It is quite the sharpest super-zoom lens I have experienced and offers a great spread from 28mm~300mm (35mm equivalent). It is actually smaller than its stable mate the 14-50mm PanLeica which I also own. It sits on the new Olympus OM-D E-M1 very well with quick AF and good handling - in fact it's not that much bigger than the new Olympus MZD 12~40mm 2.8, the E-M1 standard fast zoom. There are a few new ones left in the world, mainly in Japan. I was lucky to get this one in Germany and am well satisfied.

Don't underrate Makita
As I already have a Makita LXT chainsaw, two batteries and twin charger it made sense to buy this combi drill as a 'bare' tool, that is its own battery. I'm hoping to replace all my battery tools with LXT so I can ditch all the different batteries and chargers I've collected over the years and have one set for all my needs. I shopped around and found this drill for just less than £40. It is small, neat and nicely balanced and weighted. Build quality is excellent with all metal internals. Power is exceptional and the little LED's give a good light on the subject. This thing is built to last and I'm delighted with my purchase. Highly recommended.

High Quality covers
Nice colour - blue/grey. Good fit. Will be warm in the winter. Time will tell if it lasts.
