A Switch problem
2 of 2 found this helpful The safety lock and switch are a nightmare. The slightest easing of pressure on the switch and the machine turns off so the safety lock has to be pressed - over - and over - and over during a cut.. There is no way to override the safety lock. My old and faithful Power Trim 500 was so much more user friendly and I wish I had never bought this new one. It looks good, the handle adjustment is good, the edging roller is good, the head angle adjustment is good. The problem is how to keep it going as you use it because of that blasted switch!

Does exactly the same job as the much pricier original. A great find, a great buy.
