Can’t Go Wrong

I would much rather use fingerless gloves

I Call B/S
Alright, so let me preface this by saying I bought these wands to use for playing at church to keep the overall volume of the kit down. As far as that goes, they do a great job. The problem I have is that I watched Steve Smith’s sales pitch on these and he said the bamboo ones are the most durable and he’s yet to have a pair fail on him. I’ve only played with these a handful of times and they are already starting to split on the ends of the rods. I’m playing at about 60% power compared to what I play with sticks so it’s not a technical/velocity issue. Normally, I wouldn’t care too much about a pair of sticks breaking. However, these are $23/pair so I’m a little more concerned about breaking the bank on these wands than pairs of sticks. I still use them and play with them at church because they do their job. The main thing I didn’t like is the stretched out claims made by the company/Steve Smith.
