Too scary for small people
Unfortunately, this DVD contains the episode, "Are you my Mummy", and it is enough to send small boys shrieking behind the sofa, or burying thier heads in your lap.....I bought this for my 5 year old grandson, and we watched,(hid), it together.........the haunting image of a lost child with a gas mask implanted on his face softly calling is an image too far. Even I found it gruelling... I LOVE Dr Who, but this one resonates too closely with childrens' fear of losing their parents.......

Enigmatic story of time, loss and the power to change.
This film stars Keannu Reeves and Sandra Bullock both in enigmatic mood. It is a tale of lost love and opportunity, centred around a glass lake house. We are taken us on a journey of confusion, loneliness, the results of parental expectation? It is particularly important to pay attention in the beginning, and to clock each twist and turn as it occurs, because it is hard to grasp initially if distracted. Stick with the film though, as it develops and unfolds into a surprising and magical end. Beautifully shot and with a great score, this film will delight. Reminds me of The Ice Storm, but with more dialogue and storyline. Jane Baines-Holmes

Raw, honest film about a witch hunt. Fabulous A* acting
The Hunt. Achingly painful Danish film. Man wrongly accused of child abuse. Child is annoyed and says something innocuous to wrong woman who instigates a spectacular witch hunt and propaganda planted leading question campaign against the man. His few loyal friends fight for him, but the aggressive prejudice spreads throughout the town and even his son is targeted. Dog scene awful.. Stunning acting, tear jerkingly honest and raw violent retributive action. 5* for acting, injustice and need for a large whisky when it's finished.
