Upgrade from Tiger OSX

The Snow Leopard OS is essential when upgrading an older Mac from Tiger OS to any further upgrades. Snow Leopard OS is still acknowledged and highly regarded for its stability and reliability. There seems to be some level of Apple support still being offered as many users are either going back to it or remaining with it and not upgrading past Snow Leopard. In my situation I upgraded a 2008 iMac from Tiger OSX. This allowed for further internet browser updates such as Google Chrome. Alone this was a winner. Excellent software and very inexpensive. Upgrading to newer OSX versions are free from Apple Store as long as upgrading from Snow Leopard. Make sure you choose the correct version which is the FULL 10.6 upgrade and not discs specific to a particular Mac product. The correct disc is white and has a picture of a leopard on disc and packaging. Gray colored versions are computer model specific. Certainly worth the purchase!
