Another “must see” racing movie that nobody has ever heard about.

I guess you could say PIT STOP is a cult movie or a bit of a “B” movie, but I really enjoyed it. Pretty much any car/racing movie gets my interest. Definitely worth checking out if you can find a reasonable priced copy. The movie was shot well with some really cool race footage. A must see for any auto enthusiast and the casual viewer may find it entertaining also.

Essential Melville

This DVD isn’t too rare. However finding one that’s relatively inexpensive is another story. Which is typical of some Criterion movies that are out of print. If you are reading this, I’m sure you’re already aware of this. I had been searching for a Criterion edition of LE CERCLE ROUGE for quite some time. Finally saw one for a reasonable price. Great movie that was well worth the wait for. If you find one for the right price, grab it. You won’t be disappointed.

Great horror/sci-fi comics from the good ol’ days.

I’m a big fan of comics from the 40s & 50s. I decided to check out PS Artbooks’ line. They did an awesome job. Not only do they present each comic book in order, they redo each issue from cover to cover. YES, they even have the original ads. If you’re nostalgic like me, you should enjoy this book. I enjoyed looking at the old ads as much as the stories. So, if you are looking for something cool, you might want to check it out.
