Excited to breath new life into old incandescent fixtures.
Finally a solution to the old incandescent landscape lighting that some of us pack rats keep around "just in case". Now we can update them with relatively inexpensive bulbs instead of replacing the whole fixture. The bulbs should last a long time and they give off a similar and comforting warm light. Not cool white like the first generation leds. So far so good. Only had them in for a couple weeks but they've already lasted longer than previous replacement incandescent bulbs.

All in all a good product so far and a reasonable value
1 of 1 found this helpful The unit is very heavy duty and does hold nearly 200' of 5/8" commercial hose. Two issues that I had immediately are that the whip hose that was included leaks at the connection to the faucet, even with teflon tape and use of a wrench. The washer was also double checked and installed correctly. Still leaks.
The other is with the handle being very cheap feeling and functioning in comparison with the rest of the hose reel. I will likely end up replacing it with a heavier duty handle with a more comfortable grip (after all, when using it to capacity, rolling in 200 feet of heavy duty hose is unpleasant with the current handle).
All in all a good product so far and a reasonable value.

Surprising little package
1 of 1 found this helpful As an installer of landscapes and lighting for over 20 years, I've seen all kinds. Took a chance when revamping my personal landscape to led fixtures. Went from a 1200 watt power draw with the 30+ incandescent fixtures to 24 watts with 24 fixtures.
The wiring connection took only one or two units to get the hang of and I am confident that it is a much safer and stronger connection than typical "Malibu" light or spot connections. Seems to be water resistant as well. A few weeks in the running and all units have worked flawlessly once good connection is made. If the light doesn't come on right away when hooking up, try again before moving on. Hook up the lights to a live low voltage line.
Screws are tiny so be mindful. Really all you need is a small impact driver with a Philips bit and a box to hold your assembled lights in as you move around to install them. Head lamp is helpful if doing the work at night.
Their small footprint and extraordinary light for one watt is impressive and should hold up to the dogs and landscape maintenance personnel tromping through the gardens.
Overall very good so far and will order more in the future. I did not get paid or motivated in any way to write this review.
