Great device, works as advertised. Couldn't be happier!
1 of 1 found this helpful Looks a lot bigger in the picture. Needless to say, I followed the instructions and hard boiled eggs came out TERRIFIC!!!! It's so easy to use. No boiling water then waiting... This is like the Ronco Rotisserie (Set it and forget it). 12 minutes on average from raw to cooked.
This was an excellent purchase.

Nikon Coolpix 990 3.2 Review

Pros:
1. Great photo's
2. Amazing Macro
3. Swivel body is nice
4. Takes 4 double at battery's that last a decent amount of time.
5. Size is not too bad; it's about the size of an old 110 camera.
Cons:
1. Autofocus is slow
2. Saving large images is slow
3. Low lighting photography is terrible.
4. Somewhat noisy
Overall... You can pick one of these up on ebay for about 50 bux so the price to rating ratio is fair.
It doesn't compare to today's camera's, so if you're looking for the latest and greatest, look elsewhere. If you're looking for something fairly cheap that can take great photo's and great macro shots, look no further. Just keep in mind that it's a slow camera.
My 990 has been dunked (Fully submerged for over an hour) in water more than once, and the only thing that went bad on it was the flash. Sure I had to let it dry for a few days, but this never affected the quality. This camera is NOT water resistant, but I figured I'd add that piece to show its durability.
